Simple Birthday Card

bday8

Here is a birthday card I made quite some time ago. I wasn’t sure if I liked it at first, but looking at the photo now I think it turned out really well.  This particular one is more feminine, but you could easily change the colors to suit your need.

Supplies:  Pink Pirouette cardstock, Baja Breeze card stock, Holiday Happenings DSP (hostess, retired), Kiwi Kiss/Very Vanilla double sided satin ribbon, Whisper White cardstock, Versamark, Basic Black ink pad.

Stamps:  Bud Basics stamp set (retired), Upsy Daisy stamp set

sheesh

It’s been a long time, but let me tell you I have been busy.  My husband and I just bought our first home.  Since we had been renting a house from my husband’s uncle, we  weren’t attached to a lease or anything.  When we bought our new house, we decided we were going to make all the necessary changes and repairs before we moved in.  Smart move, but lots and lots of time and effort – I don’t ever want to paint again!  🙂  We finally moved in about 3 weekends ago and have been trying to unpack ever since.  Then there’s this whole baby thing going on that just wipes me out some days.  But anyways, here’s a card I made a long time ago for a lady who asked me to make her a pack of birthday cards.
